Nestled in a historic and conserved estate in Rochester Park, Rochester House is a grand old colonial bungalow sitting on 30,000 square feet of grounds.
It’s home to family friendly Seb’s Bistro, and The Playhouse, a gated entry play-bungalow for kids of most ages.
Rochester House is about fun for the whole family; a full service bistro style restaurant with a fun filled indoor and outdoor playground, even a 10ft trampoline! The Playhouse is a safe and clean environment for the children to mess about in. The parents and their friends take it easy in our garden cafe and restaurant, within eyeshot and out of earshot of their little ones. Now the daddies/mummies can have their cake and eat it too!
The Playhouse, taking up the whole bungalow, is an indoor playhouse for children designed for up to 12 years of age.
Restaurant patrons sit outdoors under shade and protection from weather, enjoy calm and peace in a lush surround. The restaurant serves a French-inspired menu all day and night, and a great weekend brunch.
Rochester House is also an events area perfect for christenings, weddings, kids parties and corporate events. The space is supported by an experienced banquet and kitchen staff that is ready to serve 400 for cocktail events or 150 sit-down dinners.
